The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah on Thursday allocated provisional Hajj quotas for 2022 to all countries including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, the UK and others.
"Indonesia will have the largest share, followed by Pakistan and India," the ministry said.
Saudi Arabia announced on April 10 that it will allow 1 million local and foreign pilgrims to participate in the Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca in the upcoming Haj season.

More than 2.5 million pilgrims perform Hajj on normal days. However, the Kingdom has limited the number of pilgrims in 2020, 2021 and also 2022 due to health problems and the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, , Pakistan allocated 81,132 pilgrims and Indonesia 100,051, India allocated a quota of 79,237 Hajj pilgrims for the year 2022.

The Hajj quota for Bangladesh is 57,585, Nigeria 43,008, Afghanistan 13,582 and Turkey 37,770. The United Kingdom, the United States and France were allocated quotas of 12,348, 9,504 and 9,268 respectively.
"Details of the Hajj 2022 quota released today are preliminary," the ministry said.
The probable date of Hajj 2022 is July 7 or 8, 2022, which corresponds to the 10th Dhul Hijjah 1443 AH. The final date will be determined when the new moon of the month Dhul Hijjah is observed.
However in Pakistan Ministry of religion affairs has not declared the Hajj policy for the Pakistan, either how much pilgrims will travel from government scheme and private tour operators.
