Spotify, a Sweden-based provider of audio streaming and media services, is finally going to launch in Pakistan, prior it was banned in Pakistan to stream the music, Spotify breaks the news on Instagram and Twitter.

After launching in new markets, the music streaming service will be available to more than a billion people worldwide. Last year, the music company set up a verified Instagram account for Pakistan, sparking endless speculation and excitement.
However, the company had not published an official statement. This time it is not speculation. “We will be launching in more than 80 new markets in the coming days. See you soon in Bangladesh, Pakistan and Nigeria,” Spotify wrote on Twitter to great enthusiasm for music lovers.

Despite alternatives like Apple Music, Deezer and YouTube Music, Spotify remains the favorite among audio streaming services due to its large music library. Plus, Sptify is often perfect with music recommendations for individuals.
"Listeners enjoy Spotify because we introduce them to music they can fall in love with, including music they might not have found otherwise. Spotify makes 16 billion artist discoveries every month, meaning fans listen to the artists 16 billion times a month.

The company, which began its service more than a decade ago, is currently available in 93 countries and has 345 million active users every month. Spotify currently has 144 million subscribers with more than 60 million songs and 4 billion playlists.
Users can easily download their favorite music and podcasts to their mobile devices, tablets and laptops. The music streaming platform grew in popularity during the pandemic.
The company recently reported that listening time worldwide was ahead of pre-pandemic levels as users listened to more music and podcasts.
Premium subscribers, who account for the majority of revenue, were up 27% year-over-year to $ 144 million in the third quarter. Spotify now has 1.9 million podcasts, up from 1.5 million in the second quarter, supported by major launches.
