Former Pakistan cricketer Mohammad Hafeez, along with 14 other legendary cricketers, has been awarded Honorary Life Membership of the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) on Wednesday, 5th April 2023. The MCC is considered the most prestigious cricket club in the world, with its headquarters based at Lord's Cricket Ground in London.
Recognition of Great International Players
Guy Lavender, Chief Executive & Secretary of MCC, expressed his excitement in announcing the newest cohort of Honorary Life Members of MCC as they prepare for the upcoming international summer.
Lavender mentioned that the new members are some of the greatest international players of modern times, and it is a privilege for the MCC to count them as valued members of the club. Lavender further acknowledged that two individuals received this honor for their monumental contributions off the pitch.

Mohammad Hafeez expressed his gratitude for being awarded the Honorary Life Membership of the MCC on Twitter. He thanked the MCC for honoring his services to the beautiful game of cricket and looked forward to meeting new friends and adding value as a member of the club.
