Former Pakistan Cricket Captain Mohammad Hafeez Pursues Education at University of Karachi

Mohammad Hafeez, a former captain of the Pakistan cricket team. Despite being retired from international cricket, Hafeez has decided to continue his education and pursue a degree at the University of Karachi's Health, Physical Education and Sports Science department.

According to the university's public relations team, Hafeez has enrolled in the program and will begin his studies this year. He recently met with Dr. Basit Ansari, the associate professor and chairman of the department, as well as Vice Chancellor Dr. Khalid Mahmood Iraqi at the Vice Chancellor Secretariat.

During his meeting, Hafeez explained to the vice chancellor that he had been unable to pursue his education earlier due to being a full-time athlete. However, now that he has retired from international cricket, he sees the opportunity to complete his education.

The vice chancellor welcomed Hafeez and emphasized the importance of sport activities in promoting mental and physical well-being among young people. He also commended Hafeez for his cricketing experience, stating that students can learn a lot from him.

Hafeez, who is known as "The Professor", retired from international cricket in January but plans to continue playing in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and other cricket leagues.

Although he parted ways with the Lahore Qalandars last year, it is still unclear which team he will play for in the upcoming PSL season 8, which begins on February 13 with a match between the Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars in Multan.
