Why frontline soldier Dr Furqan died in Karachi?

Dr. Furqan-ul-Haq, a retired physician from the Karachi Institute of Heart Diseases (KIHD), died on Sunday morning after reportedly being refused treatment in several public and private hospitals in Karachi. A few days ago, he had tested positive for the Corona virus.

His wife said, "He died of shortness of breath after testing positive for the new coronavirus, but no hospital has admitted him."

She also said,they Personal protection equipment (PPE) quality was not good enough, that's why he got infection.

He was taken to the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) and to a private hospital in Azizabad, where he previously worked, but they all said they had no beds. He asked me to take him home where he died today.

Dr. Furqan Ul Haq was a cardiologist who had worked with two private health institutions and had just retired from KIHD. He and his wife had tested positive for Corona last week.

His wife said, "He was in self-isolation at our residence in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, where his condition deteriorated last night." "So he asked me to take him to a specialist hospital, but because there were no beds available, three hospitals rejected him."

In a TV interview of his wife, she said there was no doctor and hospital who could take care of him,she said they visited the every hospital but every Hospital refused to admit him.

She said the Amman foundation ambulance service refused to pick him,they took him to the hospital by thier own means.she said she is feeling hopeless, there is no one who could take care any one.

The incident angered the people of the city and the medical fraternity expressed shock and anger at it. You have asked the relevant authorities to ensure the availability of treatments for humans.
