Punjab Launched Bakar Mandi mobile application for public

The Punjab Information Committee, in conjunction with Commissioner Lahore and the Lahore Cattle Marketing Company, has launched an online livestock buying app. The app is called the "Bakar Mandi app", which allows the purchase and sale of livestock.

The app was launched earlier this week because Eid-ul-Azha is around the corner. Due to the increase in coronavirus patients, the Pakistani government does not oblige people to visit the livestock markets as this may further increase the frequency of the coronavirus.

The app has a user-friendly interface. Not only that, it is easy to use for both sellers and buyers.

The seller registers the app by adding details about the sacrificial animal and placing the ad in the app. Buyers just need to scroll through the app to find the budget adjustment once the simple sign-up is complete. Users can also insert filters in the search box.

Not only does the Punjab government sell the animal, it also bans domestic slaughter of animals and believes that most butchers neglect their health due to lack of attention, especially those involving CVID-19 people who infect them around.

On the other hand, the app is easily accessible to Android users. All users must sign up for the account and find the appropriate sacrificial animal nearby. App development was decided in June at a meeting between PITB and the Lahore Division Cattle Market Management Company.

One of the officials attending the meeting said: "As COVID-19 is spreading rapidly, we are considering a proposal to either not establish animal markets, or at least develop a strategy to reduce the build-up of people for sale / This is only possible if we promote online sales. "

He said, "The idea is to develop apps and websites that allow traders to market their animals through photos and videos and make them available at various small designated locations / farms outside or in the city."
