Pakistan State Oil (PSO) became the first oil marketing company (OMC) to raise the country's fuel standard from Euro 2 to euro 5, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
PSO's Hi-Octane 97 Euro 5 was unveiled at a formal ceremony at PSO Service Station-2 in Islamabad. Energy and Oil Minister Omar Ayub Khan and the Prime Minister's Special Assistant for Oil Nadeem Babar welcomed the events.
“PSO's Hi-Octane 97 RON Euro 5 fuel is available in PSO stores in all major cities in the country,” the statement said.
