Discontinuation of Old Number Plates
- The old number plates for all private and commercial vehicles are now discontinued.
- Vehicle owners are required to replace these with new, improved security-featured number plates.
New Design Specifications
- For Private Vehicles:
- Old Design Color: Yellow
- New Design Color: White with a beautiful Ajrak pattern integrated into the design.
- For Commercial Vehicles:
- Old Design Color: Black
- New Design Color: Yellow with an Ajrak pattern for enhanced visual appeal and authenticity.
Deadline for Replacement
- The old number plates will become invalid after April 3, 2025.
- Vehicle owners must replace their old number plates before the deadline to avoid penalties or legal complications.
Steps to Obtain the New Number Plates
- Visit the Motor Registration Authority of the Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department, Sindh.
- Submit your application for the new number plates along with the required documents.
- Ensure timely submission to receive the new number plates before the deadline.
