The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports (DGIP) has rolled out the New Passport Fee Asaan application, the online passport fees paying mobile app across Pakistan on behalf of the Ministry of Interior, after it was rolled out in major cities of the country.
In this regard, Salman Sufi, the Prime Minister's (PM) Head of Strategic Reforms, tweeted that the Interior Minister, Rana Sanaullah, today inaugurated the Passport Fee Asaan app and announced that the app has been activated for public use.
As a part of the PM’s facilitation drive for the citizens, I’m pleased to announce that the Ministry of Interior’s app for online passport fees has been fully activated and is now available for everyone to use. The citizens will be able to use the app on iOS, Android, and web.

This service will allow millions of pakistani citizens to pay their fees without having to queue at banks, adding that this is one of many other facilities to be rolled out in the coming months.

The app is available in both the Play Store and the Apple Store. In addition, citizens can also pay their passport fees through DGIP's web portal, PayMaster.
The online payment feature was previously available for Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Lahore and was set to launch in Karachi this month.
However, the ministry released it nationwide ahead of its planned launch in the financial capital. After successful payment of the fee, citizens will receive notifications via e-mail and SMS via the online procedure. they must be shown to the passport office as proof.
It is important to note that once the passport issuance process has begun, the payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.
How to use Passport Fee Asaan app
- Download the passport fee asan app from play play store or ios store.
- Click on passport e-payment
- Slecet Passport Category in Passport Fee Asaan app.
- Slecet the application type, New Passport, modification in Passport, stolen passport, pages exhausted etc.
- Slecet the priority, pages, and expiry duration in the Passport Fee Asaan app.
After selecting the all filed there will be an pop up for PSD ticket generation, after getting the PSD no , you can pay the amount by using the Internet banking, or any ATM.
Children under the 15 years age are not entitled for 10 years validity passport, so sleeting the 10 years the fee will not be refunded.
By using this passport fee asaan mobile application, you can pay the fees of your passport renewal or new application without visiting the banks.
