“The most important criterion in choosing a solution was an environmentally friendly technology that is advanced and helps us improve our energy efficiency. It is important to us that we work with reputable suppliers who have a local presence and a long history in the country, ”said Raza Mansha, CEO of DG Khan Cement Company Limited.

During the signing, the technical and operational director of DG Khan Cement Company, Dr. Arif Bashir added:

Our goal is to effectively monitor and manage the power supply in our infrastructure, detect electrical faults earlier, resolve problems faster and achieve a faster payback time. Thank you Schneider Electric for introducing energy efficient solutions that improve performance.

The included hardware includes low-voltage and medium-voltage equipment, special dry transformers and variable speed drives. Power meters and sensors help provide data on equipment performance to the operations team. An uninterrupted power supply provides emergency power. All hardware is suitable for the internet of things and provides important information about energy consumption and efficiency.

PME (EcoStruxure Power Monitoring Expert) software is used to maximize availability and operational efficiency throughout the plant by maximizing lifecycle operational efficiency by using artificial intelligence to model energy consumption.

The company thanked EcoStruxure's Asset Advisor because the plant's equipment is monitored 24/7 from Schneider Electric's Connected Services Hub and management can view performance data and recommended actions through an application on their phone. All problems are reported immediately and remedied on site.

“This plant will ensure that DG Khan Cement Company will meet the energy needs of its cement production plant and continue to meet the needs of the Pakistani construction industry for years to come, and we are delighted to be part of making this plant a technology leader and innovation, ”said Schneider Electric Pakistan, Country General Manager of Humayun Akhlaq.

We are proud that our EcoStruxure solution makes this plant more energy efficient and productive, and makes it more environmentally friendly and safer.
