In a media talk, Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan told I am not in favor of a complete lockdown in-country because of poor people can not survive in the lockdown circumstances for that purpose prime minister authorized the special assistant of youth affairs, Mr. Usman Dar to establish a force.
Imran said we don’t have any infrastructure or social security to help these people in these tough circumstances of Corona pandemic.
The project is named as Corona tiger force, the fundamental purpose of this force to help the poor people voluntarily in the complete lockdown condition in f different areas of the country.
The task of this Tiger force to deliver essential food and household items to various families until the lockdown conditions prevails, These soldiers will also be authorized to report anyone storing up essential items.
Today the prime minister Imran khan chaired a meeting for Corona relief tiger force mechanism consent, the meeting attended by the special assistant to prime minister Mr Usman Dar and principal secretary Mr Azam Khan and Shahzad Akbar.
Imran Khan ratified the mechanism of this volunteer's force, it is decided in a meeting the volunteer must be above 18 years old and should be healthy.
All young and energetic can be enrolled then self for this force to help the government to manage the problems at quarantine facilities in different rural and metropolitan areas of the country.
One of the key roles of this force would help the people’s quarantined at their residences by providing the guidelines for quantities in hospitals and public places and collecting the data for suspected cases and unemployed people in their areas.
These volunteers will also be part of the public announcement and burial arrangements on behalf of the government, these members will be briefed about their responsibilities from the government officials.
The application process will start from the 31st of March and the selection process will be started on April 10 by using the citizen portal application.
Youth affairs assistant Mr. Usman Dar also said it is every one obligation to come forward and battle against this pandemic across the country.
