Sardar Usman Buzdar on Monday announced the Ramzan package worth 7 billion rupees to relieve the masses during the holy month of Ramadan.
The package was announced at a cabinet meeting here in Lahore. Provincial Ministers Mian Aslam Iqbal, Syed Hussain Jahanian Gardezi, Sardar Hasnain Bahadur Dareshk, Secretaries of Industry, Agriculture, Food and Livestock and others attended the meeting.
CM provided details and said a total of 313 Ramzan bazaars would be set up across the province in this year , where a 10kg bag of flour would be available for 300 rupees.
The Punjab government would subsidize about 3.5 billion rupees for this, he added. Meanwhile, the implementation of Corona SOPs, including compliance with social distancing, is fully assured.

There would also be reasonable shops for agriculture to sell fruits and vegetables at 2018 prices. Likewise, grams of flour, dates, dried chickpeas (Chana Dal) and other items would be available at 2018 prices, he said.

In the meantime, sugar is supplied at Rs 60 per Kg, and ghee, chicken and eggs will be sold for Rs 10-15 below the market price in Ramzan Bazaar.
CM ordered to provide maximum relief to the citizens and added that the scope of Sahulat bazaars would be expanded.
He also ordered the creation of the Sahulat Bazar Authority to permanently liberate consumers from artificial price hikes. He led austerity measures while organizing Ramzan bazaars and saving money to ease the crowds.

The needy would receive financial support at all costs, the CM assured them and instructed them on Ramzan bazaars starting from Shaaban 25. "I, provincial ministers and secretaries, will also visit Ramzan bazaars," he announced.
Meanwhile, CM Punjab also ordered Punjab to strictly enforce the new Corona Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as the current wave was more dangerous.
In a statement, he instructed relevant officials to oversee the implementation of new SOPs and reiterated that no compromises should be made in this regard.
Taking care of the lives of the common man is a priority, he stressed, noting that the vaccination of seniors needs to be accelerated.
He said police and administration must ensure that markets are closed, adding, “We understand traders' concerns, but action has been taken due to the increasing number of corona patients.
CM said retailers should prioritize protecting human lives as the number of patients and deaths from SOP violations increases.
Usman Buzdar assured that restrictions could be relaxed to improve the situation and called on the business community to work together on this issue.
"Citizens must also take the necessary precautions and take all possible measures to protect the lives of the citizens," added the CM.
In another session, the CM noted that land mutation and travel facilities had been set up in several villages as 107 rural income centers to assess the performance of the Board of Revenue (BoR) and that reforms to improve the lives of ordinary people were by the BoR initiated.
Now people would benefit from this village-level facility, he added, instructing that 700 more rural income centers should be established by the end of this month.
By the end of this year, a total of 8,000 rural income centers would be activated in the province to help citizens with their income issues, he added.
CM announced they would visit rural revenue centers during field inspections, adding that 20 mobile units are operational for land registration in remote areas.
About 20 additional Arazi mobile devices would also be activated when 62,000 fards were used online, he said. CM also announced that the creation of nine such centers had also introduced a system with a window for real estate registration with the tax authorities.
The scope of this program will be expanded to the district level, he added, ordering it to be expanded to the Tehsil level within three months. At the same time, the digital Gardawri was introduced in the 807 Mouzajaat and the Lambardari system was reactivated.
