The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed that Pakistani players should not take their families to England.
The players' families accompanied the team on previous trips abroad. However, due to the "biosafe" conditions under which the entire trip takes place, players cannot communicate with their families, even if they travel to England individually.
Middle-class batsman, Haris Sohail, was also disqualified from accompanying him, which turned out to be one of the reasons he canceled the trip.

It should be noted that Riaz took an indefinite hiatus from the longest form of the match last year, but due to Covid-19 he will be available to the national team whose replacement is needed as he is already part of the 29-man Trophy match for the trip.
"I spoke to Wahab about it and he agreed that he will be available for training and friendly matches during the tournament in England," Pakistani head coach Misbahul Haq said in a media conference.
Fast bowler Mohammad Amir and middle class batsman Haris Sohail refused for the upcoming England tour for personal reasons, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed today.
It should be noted that during the 2015 Pakistan trip to New Zealand, Sohail claimed to have an infamous ghost encounter. Since then, he has been allowed to travel abroad with his wife because he was afraid to travel alone.
Pakistan will face England in three tests and three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) running from August to September.
