The officials said they are still figuring out how to help students in remote areas by arranging laptops / smartphones for students they don't have before.
According to APP, HEC has asked universities to set up committees to address issues faced by their students regarding online courses under the new corona virus.

The sources informed APP on Tuesday that HEC, on the initiative of Learning Management Systems (LMS), would help universities set up suitable systems for online learning.
HEC has also asked universities to cancel online courses if they do not have a standard functional online lecture system.
Officials have reported that efforts are being made to improve online learning in the country as this was the first experience and will take time to improve, they said.
