Dubai residents and visitors can look forward to free public parking and extended public transport services during the Eid Al Fitr holiday as announced by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
The free parking period will extend from Shawwal 1 to 3, after which regular paid parking services will resume on Shawwal 4.
This initiative aims to accommodate the high number of visitors and residents moving around the city during the festive period.
Dubai Metro Operating Hours During Eid Al Fitr
The Dubai Metro will extend its operating hours to ensure smooth transportation during the Eid holiday:
- Saturday, March 29: From 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day)
- Sunday, March 30: From 8:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day)
- Monday to Wednesday, March 31 to April 2: From 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day)
These extended hours will allow residents and tourists to enjoy Eid celebrations without worrying about transportation availability late at night.
- March 29 to March 31: From 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day)
- Sunday, March 30: From 9:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day)
With these adjusted timings, travelers can comfortably move between key destinations in Dubai, including JBR, Dubai Marina, and Al Sufouh.
- Route E100 (Al Ghubaiba Bus Station) will be suspended from Ramadan 28 (Friday) until Shawwal 3.
- Route E101 (from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi) will remain operational as an alternative.
- Route E102 will also be suspended from Ramadan 28 until Shawwal 3.
Passengers traveling to Abu Dhabi are advised to use Route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station.
Additional Transport Services During Eid Al Fitr
For those relying on public bus and marine transport, detailed service timings are available on the RTA website and the S’hail app. This ensures travelers can plan their routes efficiently.
All vehicle testing centers in Dubai will remain closed from Shawwal 1 to 3, resuming regular operations on Shawwal 4.
During the Eid Al Fitr holiday, Customer Happiness Centers will be closed except for the Smart Customer Happiness Centers in the following locations, which will operate 24/7:
- Umm Ramool
- Deira
- Al Barsha
- Al Kifaf
- RTA Headquarters
