Asim Saleem Bajwa, chairman of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor Authority (CPECC), announced more than 1,100 jobs on Thursday in connection with the Shanghai Electric Thar Block-1 project as part of the CPEC.
Further on Twitter, the chairman of the CPEC bureau said that local candidates prefer jobs in Thar Block-1 because the candidates meet the required criteria and qualifications.

On August 15, Asim Bajwa announced the start of a three-month internship program at the agency focused on human and social development.
The internship program has a capacity of 100 interns.
