Muhammad Usman Dar, the Prime Minister's Special Assistant for Youth Affairs, has called on young people to apply for loans under the Youth Entrepreneurship Scheme. An initiative launched under the umbrella of the PM Kamyab Jawan program.
According to a press release released today (Tuesday) in Islamabad, he said the government has an ambitious plan to provide Rs 100 billion in loans to young and aspiring young people with the necessary business plans and skills.

SAPM stressed that young people applying for loans under YES must have sound and viable business plans to approve loans.
He said the program has great potential to improve business in the country and also create jobs. Dar said 25% of the loans are reserved for female entrepreneurs.
Following the reopening of YES loan applications, partner banks received 56,812 online applications from all over Pakistan.
