Sarina condemned the IRS decision, arguing that the federal government and the FBR official had malicious intent and that she would appeal the decision to a higher forum.
In a written statement to the media on Friday, she expressed doubts about the 164-page order and accused FBR official Zulfiqar Ahmed of creating an "artificial tax liability of over Rs 35 million" against her. “I don't even know if he wrote the order himself,” she said, promising to challenge the FBR's decision. According to the June 19 Supreme Court ruling, Sarina has all legal options against the FBR ruling.
Sarina also denied the FBR official's claim that she refused to serve the FBR message on June 25, saying her father was dead that day. She reiterated her claim that the Pakistani government of Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is harassing her husband and family, and that FBR officer Zulfiqar Ahmed is part of a 'team' - led by Prime Minister Imran Khan - that is desperate. after removing justice Isa from the scene.
She said that although the FBR officer denied her full response to any of his eight messages, she held her responsible for 35 million rupees.
In his communications, Zulfiqar referred to documents and information that I had repeatedly requested [but] had not provided. This did not prevent him from using these documents against me. The large order does not include these documents, ”she noted. .
The judge's wife said in her August 28 response that she had asked the prosecutor for a personal hearing. However, Zulfiqar Ahmed issued an order against me without even hearing me. He condemned me unheard of.
“[He] does not say whether he resolved all matters with the taxpayer hearing, or whether his special treatment is for a taxpayer who happens to be married to a judge. Imran Khan's government would like to remove them,” she added to.
She declared the FBR ordinance a "fiction" that ignored her income from farmland, most of her salaries as a teacher at the Karachi American School, and the proceeds and profits from the sale of her two properties in the Karachi Clifton area.
