The Punjab School Education Department will soon create an online portal for easy registration of private schools in the province In a further step towards digitization of the country.
The portal was developed in collaboration with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and allows private school owners to register schools with the provincial government without bureaucracy.

Yesterday representatives of PITB met the Minister of Education in Punjab, Dr. Murad Raas called and informed him about the progress of the development of the online enrollment portal for schools.
After the meeting, Dr. Murad Ras said :
The online system not only makes it easier for school owners to register their schools, but also assists the department in making evidence-based decision-making.
