Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has requested National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) permission to hold crowds for the upcoming sixth season of Habib Bank Limited's (HBL) Pakistan Super League (PSL) for Take Terrain in Karachi and Lahore .

According to sources, a limited number of fans would be allowed into each game if permission is given in strict accordance with coronavirus protocols.

PSL management is hoping fans will be able to participate in this year's edition of the tournament. Officials believe the league will lose its luster without fans present and negatively impact the overall season.

However, the final decision will be made on the basis of the government's recommendations. Officials believe the competition is losing its luster and negatively impacting the overall product without fans present. HBL PSL 6 is scheduled to launch on February 20 and will end on March 22. Officials have decided that the competition's opening ceremony would not be as extravagant as its predecessors.
