Pakistan is likely to add left-handed Fawad Alam to test team for the second Test against England, which starts in Southampton on 13 August.
Fawad Alam, who has over 12,000 top runs with an average of 56.78, will replace all-rounder Shadab Khan in the line-up.
The mid-level batsman's involvement could end his decades-long test cricket drought when he last represented Pakistan in its longest format in 2009.

Previously, former Pakistani captain Wasim Akram had also said that the men in Green Alam should take on in the middle order for the second Test against England.
"You won't find a wicket in the next game. You play with a spinner and you will have to play with an extra batsman," Akram said.
“If I were captain, I would put Fawad Alam in the middle tier,” he added.
After spectacularly winning the first test with three wickets, England are aiming to end their first consecutive win against Pakistan in 10 years with a victory in the second test.
