The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announced on Friday that domestic flights will resume on May 16 for Pakistan International airline and Serene airline
A CAA (Civil Aviation authority) spokesperson said Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Serene Air operate flights in the morning and afternoon.
The CAA also said that 68 flights will be operated from Jinnah International Airport Karachi, 32 from Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore 32 from Islamabad International Airport, eight from Quetta International Airport and four from Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar.

In April, the federal government extended the suspension of international and national flight operations in accordance with the national strategy to combat the spread of the new corona virus.
During this time, however, the PIA resumed relief flights to repatriate stranded Pakistani from the other countries.
PIA also got a special international direct flight to USA in first time of Pakistan history.
Earlier this month, the PIA announced a special flight plan to fly MNA's from Karachi to Islamabad so that the first National Assembly could be held during the Covid-19 pandemic.
