All Fake Licenced Pilot’s Grounded by PIA.

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has decided to land 150 of its pilots with questionable licenses. Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan announced this in the National Assembly.

At the meeting, Khan said a large number of PIA pilots - about 40 percent - had suspicious licenses. PIA spokesman Abdullah Hafeez has announced that about 150 of the pilots have false or suspicious permits and are underground.

He said management wrote a letter to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) asking for a list of other licenses that were considered questionable - all of which were undetermined, he said.

They will be taken out of service after a fair trial.

The case became known when the minister informed the House of Representatives of the preliminary report on the PK-8303 crash. The report revealed that the plane crash in Karachi was caused by human error and blamed the plane captain.

The pilot ignored various behaviors of the ATC (Air Traffic Controller) and risked the lives of hundreds of people on board.

According to the report, the aircraft was at a high altitude in front of the starting point and ATC had warned the pilot about this. The plane was 3,500 feet on four nautical miles, which is considered high from the influence profile, it added.
