National Information Technology Board (NITB), the government has announced a digital hackathon worth Rs. 300,000.
This hackathon focuses on creating a unique identity for the government's internal communication and collaboration platform.
Public concerns about privacy and security for communication platforms such as WhatsApp, etc. have been raised countless times, which is why NITB has taken a step forward and decided to offer a system to the public where users can access an internal communication system that provides a secure end -to-end communication on a consistent platform.

The National IT Board is looking for individuals and teams who can create unique branding for the government collaboration platform. There is no age limit for this hackathon, so anyone can participate.

Participants in this hackathon go through four phases. The first two phases include submission and screening, with judges focusing on key classification requirements such as innovation, visuals, etc. The remaining phases are the winner's announcement and award ceremony.
The winner will awarded with 0.3 million PKR after a jury judgment, the winner will be selected on typeface,imagery, and creativity.
Participants in this hackathon can send their ideas to NITB by email before February 28, 2021 at [email protected]. The winner of the hackathon gives NITB all applicable trademark rights.
