The Ehsaas Scholarship Program is the largest needs-based scholarship program for students in Pakistan's history. This is actually a given, but this credit is the largest program in our history.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced 200,000 exchanges over the next four years. Every year, 50,000 scholarships are awarded to talented and needy students in the country for a 4-5 year undergraduate course.
What is the Difference between the Ehsaas scholarship and other programs?
1-This program represents three major paradigm shifts in government scholarship policies. First, it is the largest needs-based scholarship program ever. It is aimed at students from low-income families so that they can attend higher education. Only a very small percentage of previous government / HEC grants were based on needs.
2- it is the largest national scholarship program ever. In the past 14 years, HEC has awarded a total of 30,000 scholarships, while this program awards 50,000 scholarships annually.
3-This scholarship focuses on increasing the earning potential of recipients. Previous grants were for postgraduate programs; H. They assumed that the students themselves had to pay for primary education. The Ehsaas scholarship funds primary education. It is the safest way to lift people out of poverty and it contributes most to the income potential.
