Universities likely to open after Eid ul Adha

Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood has reportedly instructed HEC to board all universities on July 15 regarding reopening of institutes and pursue a policy based on mutual decision.

The federal government began investigating the possibility of reopening universities on July 15, notifying the university commission that it must trust universities across the country.

Then the president of the HEC, Dr. Tariq Banuri, an online meeting with the clients to tackle the problem and address their concerns.

According to reports, the government has made a fundamental decision to open the universities and announced that the universities cannot remain closed. "The universities are reopening after all SOP protocols," said Banuri.

It was decided to restart the academic session after July 15 with an action plan for maximum protection. From 15 July, the meeting further discussed the possibility of pilot training for the official opening of the universities after Eid on 3 August
