The 72nd anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's death is marked today (Friday) with due ceremony and awe across the country.
Jinnah was born on December 25, 1876 and was president of the All-India Muslim League from 1913 to the founding of Pakistan on August 14, 1947. He was then the first Governor General of Pakistan until his death.
Quaid-e-Azam died on September 11, 1948, shortly after reaching his own home for the Muslims of the subcontinent. There were also various programs planned by educational institutions and political, social and cultural organizations this day to shed light on the personality and leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Khateebs of all mosques deliver special dua after Juma sermons to the great leader Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The Quran Khawani and a special session will be held at the Nazaria-in-Pakistan Foundation Lahore, where political and religious figures pay tribute to the father of the country, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
