Sindh to Launch Camera Readable vehicles new number plates

The Sindh government has to released a brand new license plate for camera-readable vehicles. Shoaib Siddiqui, director general of the excise and drug and drug department, mentioned the number of characters during the speech.

The number of records was developed with contributions from NRTC or National Radio Telecommunication. The new license plates would help track the vehicle and get real-time data that can be read by the camera.

The security feature includes laser serial number identification, integrated laser markings, a tracking chip and radio frequency identification labels. The license plates contain the images of Sindh's monogram. The license plates will be open to the public in November 2020.

The Old vehicles number plates was quiet simple with yellow black combination with no any security features,however with this update it will help the law enforcement agencies to track the vehicles easily.

However, in the first phase, the number plates will only be issued to registered vehicles. In the second phase, the license plates will be available for the vehicles that fall into the transfer category and in the third phase, people will be able to buy them.

On the other hand, Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister of Sindh, advised the respective departments to keep the price of the plates down so that members of the individual financial categories can afford it. The base of these signs would be white for the public and green for government vehicles.

Earlier, both Baluchistan and Punjab introduced new license plates in collaboration with NRTC. The plates were sold for 1,400 rupees in both provinces.
