After a major breakthrough, intelligence and local police arrested a Sindh police officer (ASI) working for the Indian Investigation and Analysis Wing (RAW) in Karachi.
The Intel-based operation was conducted according to a report from the Gulistan-e-Johar area of Karachi, where ASI Shehzad Parvez Faisal was arrested. Several mobile phones, unregistered SIM cards and two hand grenades were seized during the robbery.
According to the media sources, the police officer has enabled terrorist activities in the metropolis. He is also told that he is an active target killer involved in the murders of several key figures of the city.
Sources familiar with the development confirmed that he was also in contact with MQM London and that he received terrorist financing from the Mehmood Siddiqui group.
He was taken to a specific location for further investigation.The development occurred several weeks after Karachi police in the port city discovered a RAW MQM nexus in London, including a Karachi University official.
