Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood has announced a detailed policy for the average grading system for SSC and HSSC students. After an hour-long meeting with CEOs and education ministers, he spoke at a news conference in Islamabad.

During the press conference, Mahmood thanked all provincial education ministers for the unanimous decision. The minister specifically mentioned Dr. Shehzad Jeeva, Chair of the Inter-Board Chair Committee, and his staff work hard to develop a good student transport formula.

9th & Intermediate Part I Students
It was a difficult decision because several candidates had already started SSC exams, while the rest were closed and ready to take exams. Therefore, students who had not yet passed the exams in 9th and 11th grade were promoted to the next classes. The decision applies to both ordinary and private students.
یہ ایک مشکل فیصلہ تھا کیونکہ متعدد طلباء نے پہلے ہی میٹرک کے امتحانات دینا شروع کردیئے تھے ، جبکہ باقی جماعت کے طالب علم امتحان دینے کو تیار تھے لہذا ، جن طلبا نے ابھی نویں اور 11 ویں جماعت میں امتحان پاس نہیں کیا تھا ، ان کو اگلی کلاس میں ترقی دے دی گئی۔ اس فیصلے کا اطلاق عام اور نجی دونوں طلبا پر ہوتا ہے۔
This means that 9th and Part I students will not have to take a composite exam in 2021. They only appear in the exams in the second part for the respective certificates next year. To receive promotions, students must do well next year, as their grades for that year depend on performance at next year's exams.
نویں جماعت اور پارٹ ون کے طلباء کو 2021 میں اکٹھا امتحان نہیں دینا پڑے گا۔ وہ اگلے سال ہی متعلقہ سرٹیفکیٹ کے لئے دوسرے حصے میں ہی امتحانات میں شریک ہوں گے۔ ترقیوں کو حاصل کرنے والے ، طلبا کو اگلے سال اچھی کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کرنا ہوگا ، کیونکہ اس سال کے ان کے گریڈ اگلے سال کے امتحانات میں کارکردگی پر منحصر ہوتے ہیں۔
10th & Intermediate Part II Students
10th Class and Intermediate Part II students are promoted to passing grades based on their performance in previous years, the minister said, adding that only students with satisfactory performance will be promoted in previous years. Mahmood found that only three percent of last year's results were used to calculate numbers for this year.
وفاقی وزیر شفقت محمود نے کہا کہ دسویں کلاس اور انٹرمیڈیٹ پارٹ II کے طلباء کو گذشتہ برسوں میں اپنی کارکردگی کی بنیاد پر پاس کرکے ان کو اگلی کلاس تک ترقی دی گئی ہے ، انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ صرف پچھلے سالوں میں جن طلباء نےاطمینان بخش کارکردگی دکھائی ہے ان طلباء کو ترقی دی جائے گی۔ شفقت محمود نےکہا کہ پچھلے سال کے نتائج کا صرف تین فیصد اس سال کے نمبرو ں کا حساب کتاب کرنے کے لئے استعمال ہوا ہے۔

Students who failed and improvers
The Minister of Education has announced that students who have completed less than 40 percent of the subjects (in the 9th and 11th grade) will be promoted to the next cader with passing marks. He also announced plans to run special tests for students to improve their first year results.
وزیر تعلیم نے اعلان کیا ہے کہ جن طلبا نے 40 فیصد سے کم مضامین (نویں اور 11 ویں جماعت میں) مکمل کیے ہیں ان کو پاسنگ نمبر دے کر اگلی کلاسوں میں ترقی دی جائے گی۔ انہیں اپنے پہلے سال کے نتائج میں بہتری لانے کے لئے ان طلباء کے لئے خصوصی ٹیسٹ لینے کے منصوبوں کا بھی اعلان کیا۔
