SBP LAUNCHED E-LEARNING GAME FOR KIDS & TEENAGERS

The State Bank of Pakistan has inaugurated an eLearning portal for Pakistani youth to enhance their money management skills and awareness about the financial matters.

Inn this corona virus pandemic all educational institutions are closed, in this quratine period it is a great announcement for the youth to improve and enhance the learning skills.

It has been introduced as part of the central banks National Financial Literacy Programme for children and youngsters The National Institute of Banking and Finance co-operated on the project of youth skill and learning program.

A press statement issued by the state bank of Pakistan SBP on Thursday, This financial education course is delivered through an “engaging and interactive” game.
It has been marked as three age-groups:

kids between 9 and 12 years, adolescents between 13 and 17 years and teenager between 18 and 19 years. This mobile application can be access through your desktop computer browser or through the mobile application on android and iOS on tablet PC or any mobile device.

One of the amazing features of this game application all Lessons are transmitted in both English and Urdu version through a story-based game layout.

Game Users follow the fiction of two entrepreneurial families as they tackle personal, economic, and enterprise decisions. As the player of this game, the aim is to help the families create a successful business. In just a couple of hours spending on the game , users can achieve the requisites of saving, budgeting, borrowing, and banking, among many other available topics.

Interactive queries follows each topic to examine the knowledge of the learners. Those users who complete the course are rewarded with a Certificate of Financial Literacy.

The game is called ‘POMPAK – Learn to Earn’. It’s free, ready to be used and available on the Android and iOS systems apps stores and easily can be downloaded.
