Punjab government recently launched a new mobile application named as Qeemat App.This mobile app designed by thePunjab board of information and technology PITB,application was designed to give the retail prices of fruit and vegetables as per regulated prices.
After that the punjab government decided to provide the vegetables and fruits on the doorsteps of customers who are not willing to visit the markets.
Now the Punjab government has augmented the list of cities to provide the fresh vegetables,poultry products and fruits to the customer doorsteps. Initially service was started for only Lahore but now this pretty service will be available in Multan, Rawalpindi and Islamabad cities.
The customer who want to get this service has to select the items (Fresh fruit's and vegetables) there are approximately more than 150 items available icon along with prices details after selecting the material total amount will be on the top of the application.
To get the selected items on the cash on delivery customers have to select the tehsil and provide the detailed home adress to get the delivery on the doorsteps.
Initially the application was launched to give the awareness about the real prices and shopkeepers price to avoid the more profit and file a complaint against the overcharging of fruits and vegetables,after getting very good response the Punjab government decided to use this application for home delivery purposes.
This featured mobile application is available on android and iOS users.
