PSL5 remaining matches are expected to complete in November

The remaining games of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 5, which have been postponed indefinitely due to the new coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, are expected to take place in the second or third week of November this year.

According to details, the PSL 5 playoff phase could not take place due to the pandemic, but PCB is now hoping that the remaining games can be played in a bio-safe environment due to the reduction in coronavirus cases in the country, Karachi is likely the location.

The matches are expected to take place between November 12-18, which is between the window for Zimbabwe's tour of Pakistan and the T10 League.

The availability of foreign players remains a concern, but PCB is optimistic that it will at least attract players from other Asian countries.

A limited number of fans will also gain access to the stadium with government approval if the situation continues to improve.

Management also needs to address differences with TV companies and PSL franchises before the event, but PCB hopes they will be resolved soon.
