PM Inaugurated TeleSchool Channel for Students Amid COVID-19

Prime Minister Imran Khan launched the educational television channel Teleschool on Monday to broadcast academic content to students trapped in their homes due to the coronavirus pandemic.

He thanked the Federal Department of Education and Training and the Department of Information and Broadcasting for the initiative, saying the channel would help educate children across the country.

Unfortunately, no attention has been paid to improving the quality of education in the country, the Prime Minister added, adding that his government is paying special attention to education.

He said the channel should continue after the pandemic has been corrected and the situation normalized, and he promised to step up cooperation in this area.

Prime Minister Khan claimed the channel would also benefit children living in remote areas of the country. This tele school channel will be lived after the opening of the schools.

PM complained that Pakistan is far behind in education and health. He said he had paid more attention to teleschool and telemedicine since it started while project was in the pipeline.

The TV station broadcasts programs from 1 am to noon from 8 am to 6 pm. In the morning, there are English, Math, Urdu and General Science courses for young students, while the rest of the time is spent on seniors.
The Teleshool is said to be broadcast by of Pakistani television (PTV) Channel.
