PARCO is seeking applications for MANAGER HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT position
Qualification & Competencies
Candidates possessing an engineering degree, preferably in Chemical discipline with professional certifications in
HSE, Occupational Health Management, HAZOP and IMS.
Experience
The candidate should possess about 20 years of relevant experience in oil and gas, chemical or fertilizer industries, with at least 5 years as Head of HSE in a large organization, preferably with multiple locations. Should have experience of implementing and enforcing IMS (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001), NEQS, HSE Best Practices, HAZOP, etc.
Responsibilities
- Managing HSE function at corporate level and providing leadership to the HSE team.
- Promoting and ensuring compliance to all relevant HSE and IMS regulations, policies and standards at all locations of the Company, nationwide.
- Institutionalization of HSE best practices.
- Reviewing and updating Enmergency Response Plans, Business Continuity Plans and Process Safety Procedures.
- Conducting HSE 0 assessments and incident investigations. Implementing and monitoring Incident Reporting Systems.
- Developing training
- Proactively reviewing and making improvements in operations, practices, SOPS, etc.
- Liaising with contractors to ensure their compliance with Company Safety Regulations and Standards.
- Coordinating with government agencies and regulatory authorities and providing training to employees on HSE and IMS
