Pakistan moving towards economic stability says Shibli Faraz

    Federal Minister of Information Shibli Faraz said the State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) foreign exchange reserves have risen from 8 billion. Dollars up to 12.5 billion. Dollars because of the government’s cautious economic policies and added that the country is on an economic level Add stability.

    The minister said the government has provided financial support to 15 million families under the Ehsaas program. He said the government had adopted policies to cut imports and increase exports, which had led to the strengthening of the country’s economy.

    Faraz said the cabinet had been briefed on the historic support package for the construction industry and that resuming construction would create jobs. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan was informed that 891 million rupees had been paid to the media for their outstanding advertising claims.

    He said that in the anti-manipulation government, illegal structures on the Srinagar Highway were recalled and trees were planted.

    The minister said the world provides examples for Pakistan in tackling the coronavirus pandemic. Faraz said those singing the strict lockdown slogan are currently not visible. “By the grace of Allah, the coronavirus pandemic has caused less damage to our country than other countries,” he said.

    He said the federal cabinet had also decided to celebrate Independence Day on August 14.
