Pak Army Successfully Tested Ghaznavi Ballistic Missile

Pakistan army has successfully tested Ghaznavi ballistic surface-to-surface missile, which is capable of delivering nuclear and conventional warheads over a distance of 289 kilometers, details revealed by ISPR.

This start of training was the culmination of the annual field exercise of the Army Strategic Forces Command, the military's media wing, Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), said in a statement.

The start of the training was attended by Lieutenant General Muhammad Ali, Commander in Chief of the Strategic Planning Department, the Army Command for Strategic Armed Forces, scientists and engineers of the strategic organizations.

The Commander Army's Strategic Forces Command praised the operational readiness and the excellent quality of the handling and operation of the weapon system. He was also completely satisfied with the training standards of the participating troops obtained during this training activity.

Dr. Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chiefs of Service congratulated all ranks of the Army Strategic Forces Command, scientists and engineers, on the successful completion of today's launch.

Last month, Pakistan successfully conducted a ground-to-ground test with Shaheen-3 missiles with a range of 2,750 kilometers. According to ISPR, the flight test was aimed at renewing various design and technical parameters of the weapon system.
