Maryam Ki Dastak App Expands Services in Lahore, Targets Wider Outreach

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, during a crucial meeting, emphasized enhancing services offered to citizens through the ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ mobile application. She approved increasing the number of services and their outreach, aiming for significant improvements.

Expansion of Services in Lahore

The Chief Minister directed the expansion of services in Lahore. The number of services will increase to 40 initially, with a target of reaching 65 by August 2024. This step aims to provide more comprehensive support to the residents of Lahore, ensuring a wider range of accessible services.

Briefing on 'Maryam Ki Dastak' Programme

The Chairman of the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) briefed the CM on the extension plan for the ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ programme. From 14 August, these services will be available in every division. The integration will include services from various departments such as Police, Revenue, Municipalities, Excise, TMA, and Development Authorities.

Services Available Through 'Maryam Ki Dastak'

The ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ app offers numerous essential services. Citizens can access domicile certificates, e-stamping, birth certificates, death certificates, marriage certificates, property tax payments, token tax, motor vehicle transfers, and new vehicle registrations. This comprehensive range ensures that most civic needs are met through a single platform.

Multiple Access Points for Services

Citizens can apply for these services through various channels. They can make an appointment with a ‘Maryam Ki Dastak’ representative, use the web portal, the mobile app, or contact the call center at 1202. This multi-faceted approach guarantees ease of access and convenience for all users.

In her message on the ‘International Day for Women in Diplomacy,’ Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif acknowledged the exceptional contributions of women diplomats worldwide. She highlighted the vital role of women in diplomacy, emphasizing their unique perspectives and leadership qualities that promote peace and empathy in diplomatic efforts.
