Chief Assistant Minister of Information and Local Government Assistant Kamran Bangash has introduced the online drawing approval system for public use in the province's construction industry.

On this occasion, he informed the media that the Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) mission of the Pakistani government should create a favorable environment for business and investment in the country and that important steps are being taken in this regard.

To attract international investors to invest in Pakistan, simple rules and guidelines have been established, he added.

Kamran Bangash said that the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is primarily working to improve employment, adding that the provincial government has put in place an online approval system that would further improve the construction industry.

He added that home construction cards can be obtained in 15 days, while commercial construction cards can be obtained in a month.

He said that this would not only encourage construction companies, but also ensure that construction work was done correctly and to standards.

Kamran Bangash said the World Bank is preparing its Annual Business Opportunities Report that assesses business activities in different countries on ten different aspects and that Pakistan ranks 28th in the World Bank 2020 report.

He said the World Bank report was prepared after examining business opportunities and the investment climate in 190 countries. Pakistan's rankings show that the government has created an excellent investment environment.
