HBL opens eBanc "Roshan Digital Account", an initiative of the State Bank of Pakistan.
Ebanc "Roshan Digital Account" is an innovative product that allows Pakistani people from abroad all over the world to open an HBL account digitally without visiting a branch. With the opening of this digital account, Pakistani people abroad can now easily send money transfers to their family's home so that they can easily bank every day.

eBanc Roshan Digital account is a unique opportunity for overseas Pakistanis to open an account with HBL from their home. Customers can open an eBanc Roshan Digital account to channel remittances for further investment in securities through the CDC, government-initiated bonds, real estate investments, and other legitimate purposes as permitted by the State Bank of Pakistan.
Characteristics
- No minimum balance required
- There are no service chargesCustomer can open a currency account (USD) or an NRP rupee value account
- Both accounts can be fully repatriated.
- Account can be fed by foreign money transfers from the account holder himself through formal channels (banks only)
- Monthly bank statements sent to registered email address
- The account may only be opened by non-resident PakistanisAccount must be managed separately
- Accounts are only funded through foreign money transfer.
- Local credits allowed to the extent that proceeds are received from authorized investments made from the accountAccount must be opened within 48 hours if everything is okay.

After you submit your application, a bank representative will contact you within two business days to guide you through the process of opening the account.

Once your account is activated, we will send you a confirmation email and you can transfer money
Note: In case of discrepancies in the documents, customers will be notified by email or video / recorded call for correction and will need to send the missing / additional or changed documents.
Required documents
Please note that you must submit the following documents when opening your account.Scanned CNIC / NICOP / POC
Scanned copy of original passport (first 2 pages) (Pakistani and / or other passport)
Proof of NRP status (eg Scanned copy of visa, entry / exit stamps, etc.)
Evidence of profession and source of income / funds (eg, scanned copy of job ticket / job ID, tax return, rental agreement, payslips, etc.)
Delivery invoice / Rental agreement / Any document issued by the government other than the proof of identity for address verification.
