Emirates airline has announced that air operations in Pakistan will be resumed. The airline flies to three cities in Pakistan, namely Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad.
After regulatory approval, Emirates has resumed passenger traffic to Pakistan. Customers can travel to and from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad if they meet their destination requirements," said a spoke person of the Emirates Airlines.
"The health and safety of our crew, customers and communities remains our top priority. Emirates has taken comprehensive on-site and airborne action at every stage of its customer journey to minimize the risk of infection spreading." added the statement.

A few days ago, Emirates announced that it would discontinue its services in Pakistan after coronavirus cases were found among air passengers.
"Following the announcement of positive Covid-19 cases in Hong Kong regarding certain passengers traveling on our flights, Emirates has decided to temporarily suspend the Pakistani passenger service from June 24," said the spokesperson for the Dubai-based airline in a statement.
The announcement was made based on reports that 26 passengers on the Emirates flight to Hong Kong tested positive for Covid-19.
