CoronaVirus Catches, CM Murad Ali Shah Brother in law life

Chief Minister Sindh, Murad Ali Shah Brother in law passed away due to Coronavirus infection in Karachi private hospital.

Syed Mehdi Shah, director of the Sindh Industrial Trade Office (SITE), was taken to hospital after an illness. After his condition deteriorated, he was placed on a ventilator. He was diagnosed with COVID-19 on March 10 after returning from Iraq.

A senior Sindh Industries division official told that Mehdi had made a journey to Syria and Iraq and also planned to travel to Iran, but that he could not go there because Tehran had banned the stranger's arrival because of COVID-19 pandemic.

He arrived in Pakistan from Lebanon and visited his office for a few days in the SITE area, but was taken to a private hospital after his worst fever. It is not known where he actually got the virus, the official said.

A source of the Chief minister's house said, he also had diabetes, which could have caused health problems that could have led to his death.

According to the official, Mehdi is from an educated family in the Khairpur district. His father was a physician, one of his older brothers was a retired Pakistani Air Force, the other, Abid Ali Shah, remained Secretary to Sindh and the Federal Government and was a member of the Sindh Public Service Commission.

Mehdi joined the government in 1995 and was also Deputy Commissioner in various positions, including in Mirpurkhas.

He left his death in mourning of two daughters, a son and a widow, said Chief Minister Shah's second brother in law, Zulfiqar Shah. He is buried in the cemetery of Wadi-e-Hussain after the prayers of Fajar.
