The Workers Welfare Fund, Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resources Development is conducting a lucky draw/balloting for Hajj 2023. This draw is specifically for ten industrial workers and miners from Islamabad. Both male and female workers can apply for this balloting.
Eligibility Criteria for Workers Welfare Funds Hajj
To apply for the balloting, the interested workers must fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Age Limit The industrial workers/miners must be at least 40 years of age and not more than 60 years.
Registered Employee The industrial workers/miners must be registered with EOBI or ESSI Employers Security Institution.
Act IRA-2021 The candidate must fall under IRA-2021.
Not Performed Hajj Before The candidates who have not performed Hajj before are eligible. They must submit an affidavit stating this fact.
Approved Industrial Institute The worker must work in an approved industrial institute and pay valid taxes on their income.
Registration of Manager/General Manager at Industrial Institute The Manager/ General Manager of the institute must be registered.
Application Process for Workers Welfare Funds Hajj
Interested candidates can send their applications to the Assistant Director, AMJAD ALI, Workers Welfare Fund Building No. 2, street no.39, Mao Are, Sector G-10-4, Islamabad. The last date for submitting applications is 6th March 2023, and the office will not accept any applications received after this date.
Selection Process for Workers Welfare Funds Hajj
The Workers Welfare Fund will bear all expenses related to Hajj for the selected candidates, as per the Hajj Policy 2023 by the Government of Pakistan.
The list of selected candidates will be finalized through a draw, and the announcement of the successful candidates will be made as per schedule. The payment for Hajj will be made to the Ministry of Hajj as per Policy 2023.
In case a successful candidate is unable to avail of this facility, they will not receive any amount as an alternative, and the opportunity will pass on to the next candidate. The decision of the Workers Welfare Fund will be final.
