TechOne Incubator NUST has officially opened Student Startup Business Center

TechOne Incubator NUST has officially opened applications for the second group of startups interested in participating in the Student Startup Business Center (SSBC). To be part of SSBC-NUST, potential student entrepreneurs with a viable start-up idea must participate in the SSBC Challenge 2020.

SSBC is a joint initiative of the Pakistan Higher Education Commission (HEC), the Foundation for the Advancement of Education in Pakistan (PEP) and the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) to support and establish student start-ups.

SSBC aims to nurture talented student entrepreneurs and enhance their hands-on learning experiences in college. NUST SSBC is located in TechOne Incubator NUST and offers a free collaboration area, seed capital, incubation opportunities and the opportunity to participate in national and international events.

In the transition to the knowledge economy, SSBC focuses on driving innovation and entrepreneurship and leveraging relationships with industry to identify value-added opportunities that can be commercialized.

To be eligible for the SSBC Challenge 2020, participants must be undergraduates, graduates or graduate students from NUST’s constituent schools and colleges. The winning teams will receive start-up funding, a year of free work space and access to all incubation facilities.
