More than 5,000 Community Aid Teams across all Punjab Trade Union Councils affiliated with Rescue 1122. Each year, her participation in the District Union Council Competition and National Volunteer Challenge is a prime example of government volunteering.

The Rescue Cadet Corps (RCC), like the National Cadet Corps (NCC), is a step toward training students in emergency management and safety promotion. The mission of the RCC initiative is to mobilize the power of youth through the Rescue Cadet Corps of volunteers to build sustainable, healthy, safe and resilient communities.

To make this initiative more pragmatic, the Rescue Cadet Corps mobile app has been developed in collaboration with the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) to connect all paramedics (volunteers) from communities and educational institutions with online registration, training and certification according to practice in colleges and nearest rescue stations.

Punjab Governor Ch Muhammad Sarwar officially launched the Rescue Cadet Corps mobile app at the Governor House in Lahore on February 19, 2021.

This app has been specially designed with COVID-19 in mind to enable students and citizens to receive online training on RCC components. After that, teams of rescue coaches across Punjab conduct drills / internships to practice life-saving skills over two weeks.

Punjab's rescue director general, Dr. Rizwan Naseer submitted a proposal for RCC training for students, which earned them 20 points, as previously stated for NCC.

Likewise, college students credit hours to attract students to administer emergency management training and safety promotion activities. It was truly amazing that Governor Punjab put emphasis on connecting Rescue Scouts with various organizations such as TEVTA, Chambers and Akhwat to give them further opportunities to develop skills leading to initiatives to live from prosperous communities.

Volunteering (offering to do something without being forced or paid) - For the sake of humanity (in the sense of Allah), any citizen interested in being part of the RCC can sign up for the app as a rescue scout and join Register.

Get online training on five basic modules of the Community Safety Training Course. These modules include first aid, fire prevention, road safety, healthy and clean Pakistan and a clean environment. Subsequently, a two-week special education is organized for students from colleges and universities.

This hands-on training includes team building exercises, safety-enhancing activities and life-saving hands-on exercises.

One of the main RCC components is the Pakistan Life Savers Program (PLSP) in partnership with Aga Khan University Hospital with the stated goal of equipping 10 million Pakistanis with life-saving cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and bleeding management skills to increase their chances of survival by increase the number of victims of cardiac arrest and trauma.

The requirement to launch this program is underway and will be released next month.AKU PLSP and First Aider complement each other in any home rescue program. Another RCC component is the Industrial Emergency Response Team (ERT) training.

The group of industry companies that provide online training is supported by on-site rescue trainers to conduct practical exercises in emergency evacuation, emergency preparedness and safety drills.
