The Punjab Information and Technology Board has launched a new program entitled "Paperless License Issuing System". The recently launched project is for the residents of Rawalpindi, but if all goes well, the technology is expected to be deployed across the country soon.
The licensing process in Pakistan is nothing more than an effort with a lengthy process. Because of the COVID 19 pandemic, the Pakistani government has advised people to maintain social distance and has introduced a partial closure to prevent the disease from spreading.
