Punjab Council of the Arts plans to look for talent in music, visual and creative arts through a talent show and online exhibition of works by artists for virtual tours.
Art council Operations Director Muhammad Abrar Alam announced on Monday that the talent search had begun to find talented young people who should encourage artists, and intellectuals.
The art Council has decided to have this talent show take place through online exhibitions, lectures and performances in various districts of Punjab. At the district, departmental and provincial levels, competitions are held among young people in the fields of music, arts, crafts, theater and literature.

Mr. Alam said several interest groups will be involved in this program, most notably the education department and the district and department heads of the arts councils. The directors of the Divisional Art Councils operating under the Punjab Council of the Arts are responsible for the implementation of all activities.
First, the directors conduct audits at local level in various disciplines. The selected candidates are then asked to act at division level and the officials receive the prize money. In addition, competitors from all disciplines receive incentive awards.
For the grand finale at the provincial level, a mega show will take place in Lahore, where top athletes win prizes in addition to encouragement prizes for other participants. The main goal is to introduce young talent to create financial opportunities for them. However, all of these programs and performances take place online during the Covid 19 pandemic, Alam said
