The pasha and nest IO president Jehan Ara, questioning whether the PTA was behind the AWS interruption. Jehan Ara is also a member of the Task Force of the Prime Minister of IT and Telecommunications and the Punjab Board of Investment and Trade.

After startups reported a service outage, Jehan Ara tweeted, "If this disruption to access to cloud services is caused by the PTA, it may be time for someone in the government to do something about it. We don't need another blow to our economy. " "
However, the PTA denied any involvement in the disruption of Amazon Web Services in Pakistan, adding that the rumors on social media were not "credible."
The episode adds to the mistrust created by recent decisions such as the PUBG ban and the PTA's requirement that companies and the public must register VPNs.
