To address the backlog of ID card printing, Gilani instructed the department heads to continue working even on weekly holidays. He aims to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency. It is noteworthy that Mailk, in his three-page resignation letter, highlighted his performance and the initiatives implemented during his tenure as the NADRA chief.

Additionally, he plans to enhance the accessibility of NADRA services by establishing more centers across the country, particularly in remote areas. Moreover, Gilani intends to collaborate with international organizations to learn from their best practices and implement them at NADRA.
