Prime Minister Imran Khan announced on Thursday that 15 national parks will be created in all federal entities as part of the Protected Area Initiative.
At the opening ceremony in Islamabad on Thursday, Imran Khan said that the provinces will receive guidelines for the conservation of these national parks.

He instructed the provinces to take the threat seriously and to take the necessary measures to protect the green areas.
Prime Minister Imran Khan emphasized that he must develop master plans for the cities and make the protection of green areas a fundamental part of urban planning.
He asked his assistant Ameen Aslam to investigate how national parks in the United States are maintained and maintained and to implement in Pakistan.
Known as the Protected Area Initiative, a national park is being established in each province as part of the program.
As part of the initiative, coverage of the country's protected area is increasing from the current 13 percent to 15 percent of the country's land area.
Of these, 9 are new and recently proclaimed national parks, while 6 others have been notified but never protected.
For the first time, all parks will become fully functional national parks with appropriate ecological management and management.In the initial phase, nearly 5,000 direct nature jobs are created for young people.
